TV Presenter Tom Heap Returns to the RECOUP Conference
Plastics resource and recycling member-based charity, RECOUP will be embracing the plastics debate at their 2022 annual conference in September. An excellent set of speakers and panellists from far and wide have been lined up to make sure this event remains an engaging conference and networking opportunity.
Tom Heap, BBC presenter and author of ’39 Ways to Save the Planet’, will be returning to Chair the morning sessions, stating that “the quality of debate and presentations I’m sure will not disappoint, and I am delighted to be invited to moderate the morning sessions again. Opportunities and issues are moving at pace, and it promises to be a great day that will continue to challenge the status quo within the plastics resource and recycling space. I will ensure we get under the skin of the challenging and meaningful questions as plastics remain a hot topic for everyone.”
Since its revamp in 2012, the annual RECOUP Conference has continued to grow in popularity and attracts delegates from the entire plastics and wider sustainability value chain. As one of the key events in the resource efficiency and recycling calendar, it is important to encourage open and honest discussions and new collaborations if ambitions and targets are to be achieved.
RECOUP, CEO, Stuart Foster, commented “The ongoing popularity and success of our annual event is of course linked to the ever growing priority to get the plastic resource agenda right. But it is also a reflection of our pursuit of evidence based change and improvement whilst retaining our independence and intregity. We are, once more, expecting vibrant and thought provoking debate which we hope leads to actions.”
