Simon Plastics to Exhibit at Southern Manufacturing
Devon based specialist plastic component and assembly supplier Simon Plastics are returning to Southern Manufacturing at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.
Simon Plastics are using the exhibition, which runs from 6th to 8th February, to showcase recent investments in a new “controlled environment” injection moulding area.
The area has been developed in response to demand not only from medical customers but also from electronic, fibre optic and engineering markets, for cost effective clean moulding and assembly.
The new facility features filtered air supply, temperature control, LED lighting and documented cleaning and gowning procedures.
Simon Plastics can offer a full design, tooling, moulding and assembly package with the capability to produce mouldings up to 700g, ultrasonic welding, printing, automated assembly, packaging and logistics.
Examples of current projects will be on display along with details of the facilities and advice available to customers.
