RJG Technologies Showcase Training & More at PDM

With the skill shortage in the industry being high on the agenda RJG will be at PDM to present their portfolio of courses from fundamental to high level processing pathways and the Master Moulder qualifications; the new online Maths for Moulders course can also be reviewed.

The Science Manufacturing Technician Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeship courses, delivered by RJG, can be discussed at the show with the next course starting on October 22nd.

RJG also aids the injection moulding industry in supplying quality parts to their customers at less cost via the use of technology.  This is achieved by providing standalone and networkable process control systems, in mould sensor technology, training and consulting services for both processors and designers.

The expanded portfolio RJG now offers includes TZero™, eDart™, CoPilot™, The Hub™ and ProOp™ all can help injection moulders increase quality while decreasing the cost of production.

Testing sensors prior to putting the mould into production can save a considerable amount of lost production and troubleshooting time.  RJG offer the Sensor eValuator, a sensor verification system that provides tool makers and moulders a system to test up to 30 Lynx strain gauge and piezoelectric sensors at one time for correct functionality.

The Lynx DIN Rail Modules feature new shielded metal enclosures and cables. These new features make installation and troubleshooting easier while increasing immunity to interference in electrically noisy environments. All this is accomplished while maintaining the convenient DIN Rail mounting and easy to read status LEDs.

A solution to greatly reduce the footprint required on the mould tool for multi-sensor installations will be on display.  This is the RJG Multichannel Strain Gauge system which simplifies the installation of strain gauge cavity pressure sensors in high cavitation moulds.  A solution, developed by listening to customer feedback, the Multi-Channel Strain Gage solution reduces the per mould cost by up to 40% over single channel strain gauge sensors and up to 26% over the multi-channel piezo solution.
