Renmar Supply Eight Dosers for Strata Products
Renmar Plastics Machinery recently supplied Strata Products with eight SB Plastics Machinery volumetric masterbatch dosing units which have been fitted to a range of injection moulding machines to improve the accuracy of colouring their products.
Renmar recently installed a total of eight volumetric masterbatch dosing units for Nottinghamshire-based plastics processors Strata Products. Strata are part of the RPC Group and are one of the leading suppliers of plastic storage, garden and baby products in the United Kingdom.
Strata’s engineering manager Richard Johnson has said: “The advantage of the SB Colour 1 volumetric doser is that it has an output range of 0.08-15kg/hr without the need to change the screw and sleeve and saves on downtime which is a big plus point.”
The mounting flange on the SB Colour dosers can be supplied with universal fit slots or with adaptor plates to suit the various makes and models of moulding machines upon customer request. There is an option of a compressed air hopper loader to fit on the doser hopper should that be required as an alternative to handloading.
There is also a range of machine mounted mixer options allowing up to three dosing units to be added, giving the flexibility to add colours, additives and stabilisers with pre-mixing above the machine screw.
