Record Delegate Numbers Ready for Inspiring RECOUP Annual Conference
The annual RECOUP conference has become one of the events of the year in the plastic resource and recycling calendar.
With delegate numbers hitting record levels, Stuart Foster, RECOUP CEO stated “if you have any involvement or interest in plastic resources or recycling, Peterborough is the only place to be on 27th September. It is not just the number of people attending but also the quality of delegates that really stands out.
The Conference is noted for meeting the challenges facing the plastics and recycling industry head on, and exploring the opportunities too. By engaging with the whole of the extended plastics supply and recycling chain, the event has gained a reputation as being a unique forum where the ‘bigger picture’ of plastics resources and recycling is covered. This year the event is certain to include the latest on legislation and policy, supply chain collaboration, collections, consumers and confusion, litter and leakage into the natural environment, technology in sorting, advances in reprocessing and end markets.
Mike Barney, RECOUP Chairman added ‘ It has been an exceptional year with a significant increase in membership support, unprecedented levels of corporate and consumer interest in plastics, the environment, resources and recycling. RECOUP is a leading authority on plastic waste and resource management and will continue to deliver in this space as the UK’s plastic recycling value chain co-ordinators.”
Alongside the launch of various RECOUP documents, this Peterborough based national conference will also hear from a range of leading speakers from polymer producers, pack manufacturers and retailers to local authorities, resource management companies, recyclers and NGO’s.
