The City of Wolverhampton College (COWC), in collaboration with the Polymer Training and Innovation Centre (PTIC), is pleased to offer a fully levy-funded Level 3 Polymer Processing Technician Apprenticeship, specifically designed for professionals in the injection moulding and blow moulding industries.
This 30-month programme, with the possibility of accelerated completion, combines workplace-based learning with structured training at PTIC in Telford, offering full flexibility to both employers and apprentices.

✔ Accredited by Ofqual and aligned with the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE)

Course Components
In addition to achieving the Level 3 Technician Award, apprentices will gain certification in:
✔ IMT-2 & IMT-3 Injection Moulding Training
✔ Mould Mounting & Materials Appreciation
✔ Approved Setters & Technicians’ Practical End Tests
✔ Five Lean Manufacturing Workshops
✔ IOSH Managing Safely & NEBOSH Environmental Awareness at Work
✔ Apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA)
