Protool Plastics Group Confirm Significant Machinery Investment

Protool Plastics Group has completed stage one of their ambitious expansion plan, confirming the delivery of three new injection moulding machines, set to increase capacity and improve productivity at the Fareham site.

Tuesday 4th February saw the delivery of three new machines to Protool Plastic Group‘s Fareham site, set to increase capacity and improve productivity on existing business. This signals the completion of stage one of an ambitious expansion plan set to continue within the group throughout 2020, with further announcements to come before Easter.

The incoming machines are two new Haitian Mars II 250-tonne machines and one Haitian Mars II S 60-tonne machine.

The floors were cleared on Monday night ready for the departure of the old Negri Bossi machines, models NB210, NB150 and NB60, which had worked over 400,000 hours in their lifetime with Protool.
