Protool Plastics Group Moves to 100% UK-Generated Renewable Power

The Protool Plastics Group is proud to announce that its Fareham factory has moved to 100% UK-generated renewable power supplied by Engie.

The Protool Plastics Group, an injection moulding group based in Fareham and Manchester, manufacture injection moulded components and assemblies for the UK, EU and worldwide markets.

Group Managing Director Michael Hadfield commented: “Alongside our ever-expanding polymer recycling programme, it shows our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, taking seriously the challenges we face with global warming.”

The Protool Plastics Group praised its Fareham-based team for their work to reduce the factory’s carbon footprint. It comes after the company recently received renewable electricity certification from Engie, who recognised that Protool Plastic Components Limited is supplied each year with 772556 kWh of certified renewable energy, demonstrating its commitment to reducing its environmental impact for the period from 01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027.
