During his 30+ years working in the plastics industry selling injection moulding machinery, PlastikMedia Director, Carl Futcher, worked with many marketing companies, organising PR, creating marketing campaigns and advising on advertising and managing websites.
The problem he continually found was that he had to provide detailed content to the marketing companies who had no idea of the industry, products, terminology, target audience, and competitors.
The marketing companies simply made presentable the content Carl and his team put together and delivered it to the market. These companies didn’t even have contacts or influence with the relevant media, so Carl often had to use his company’s own channels to get articles published.
As a result, the marketing function was often neglected, especially when the team was busy and didn’t have the time or focus to create the detailed information required by the marketing companies. This is where PlastikMedia comes in.
