PlastikCity to Join Sierra 57 Consult & PS Partnerships at Southern Manufacturing 2024
PlastikCity will make its debut as an exhibitor at the 2024 edition of Southern Manufacturing. Co-located with Sierra 57 Consult and PS Partnerships on stand K265, PlastikCity hopes to meet plenty of potential new partners, as well as network with the other Partner companies and industry contacts also exhibiting at the show.
The three brands have created a professional plastics consultancy named “Plastic Matters”, covering a wide range of services specific to the plastics, sustainable materials and manufacturing sectors.
PS Partnerships, represented by Suzanne Johnston and Paul Shipton, have significant expertise in all areas of regulatory, compliance, technical and quality consultancy specific to the manufacturing sector. With a unique blend of experience in industry, commercial and R&D settings, Paul and Suzanne will be on-stand to discuss a wide range of training, consultancy and sustainability services.
Sierra 57 Consult, previously primarily a recruitment company specialised in the Plastics manufacturing sector, has recently added an entirely new Polymer Engineering training division, offering IOM3-accredited training courses on a variety of added value disciplines within the plastics manufacturing industry. Winning back-to-back Plastic Industry Awards for the last 2 years for “Best Training Initiatives & Programmes” Sierra 57’s training arm is enjoying a growing reputation within the UK industry. Represented by Mark Lawson and his team, Sierra 57 will be ready to discuss all aspects for “closing the skills gap” ie staff recruitment, promoting company culture & wellness, staff retention, and onsite training / upskilling at Southern Manufacturing.
Finally, PlastikCity and sister company PlastikMedia provide a variety of services specific to the plastics manufacturing industry. PlastikCity is a dedicated procurement service, linking designers and procurement professionals to UK-based manufacturers with its ‘Source a Moulder’ service. Southern Manufacturing & Electronics is without doubt one of the most important and popular engineering shows in the UK calendar. From modest beginnings as a regional event, it has evolved into a fully-fledged national show, with increasing influence across continental Europe and further afield. In 2018, the event entered its third decade with a move into its new permanent home, the £35m Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre development, a 20,000m² complex offering world-class facilities, easy access and free onsite parking.
