UK Team Graduate Plastek Leadership Academy
The Plastek UK team are delighted to announce that two of their managers have recently graduated from the Plastek Leadership Academy. Carl Hilton, Quality Manager and Darren Warboy, Engineering and Maintenance Manager, received their certificates, which they have been working towards for the past nine months and successfully completed in September 2023.
The Leadership Academy training was spread out of 9 sessions from February 2023 to September 2023.
The modules included were –
- What is leadership? Emotional IQ coaching and feedback part 1.
- Critical thinking – launch 360 feedback survey.
- Coaching and feedback part 2 – talent development.
- Organisation, design, role clarity, delegations, accountability and peer coaching.
- Leading and managing change.
- Leading with vision, your leadership brand and executive presence.
- Strategic leadership, mapping strategy vs. tactics business leadership.
- Putting it all together: capstone and graduation.
Each individual had to create their own development plan, which they reviewed, actioned and updated throughout the course to improve in their current role.
They also participated in the Hogan Assessment, which reflects their working style and behaviours, along with 360 surveys from their fellow employees/leaders.
