Plas-Tech Thermoforming Invest in High Performance CNC Machine
Plas-Tech Thermoforming Ltd specialise in the manufacture of vacuum formed components and have recently increased their CNC machining capacity with the purchase of a 6th machine of its type.
Investment in this latest new Maka MM 7t high performance CNC milling centre is for the 5 axis machining of large size vacuum formed components such as engine covers, roof panels, interior cab trim plus many other types of plastic product.
The MM 7t machine has twin 1600mm x 2000mm tables for optimum efficiency whilst its router spindle operates at speeds of up to 24,000 rpm and a 10 place rotary disc magazine for automatic tool change. Providing high output, component accuracy and repeatability this machine is just one of several other plant upgrades that are part of an ongoing £500K investment program to support the growth of the business.
