Pentagon Plastics Shares Big Plans for 2022
2022 is shaping up to be quite the year for Pentagon Plastics as the injection moulder reveals that it has several exciting plans in the pipeline, from welcoming new faces aboard and exhibiting at trade shows to celebrating a big company milestone.
Following on from the exciting Plastics Industry Award win towards the end of last year, Pentagon Plastics is taking the start of the year by storm.
Pentagon Plastics has announced that it will be welcoming five new team members within its moulding division; these exciting new additions will further extend the company’s technical moulding capabilities and bespoke manufacturing services.
Not one to stand still, Pentagon is also gearing up for the long-anticipated Southern Manufacturing event, which takes place from February 8-10 in Farnborough. Pentagon has not exhibited at the event since 2016 and is delighted to be returning to what is no doubt going to be a jam-packed three-day show.
Visitors to the stand can expect to see varied examples of the company’s technical moulding capabilities, and it will showcase its UK-based bespoke mould tool manufacturing services.
Unique in its offering of both full mould tool manufacture and plastic injection production on one site in the UK, Pentagon delivers a one-stop shop for technical moulding. Highly experienced in the processing of commodities through to high engineering grades of thermoplastics, the group is well placed to serve many industry sectors, including medical (non-cleanroom), aviation, rail, and electrical, to name but a few.

Pentagon Plastics will also be exhibiting at Medical Technology UK, the Engineering Supply Chain Show and the Engineering Design Show later in the year.
Aside from the industry trade shows, the team has some exciting plans for the coming year, including reinvestment into its machinery and facilities. It will be taking strides to further improve process optimisation and reduce its carbon footprint.
2022 will also see the company ring in its 50th year since being founded as Small Batch Plastics in 1972. With big celebrations on the horizon and a bucket load of optimism, 2022 has the makings of an exciting new chapter for Pentagon Plastics.
