New Production Facility for Frigosystem
To keep pace with the company’s sustained growth, Frigosystem, home to industrial chillers and thermoregulation systems, has expanded to include a new production facility.
With headquarters near Milan and subsidiary branches in Mexico, Germany, and the United States, Frigosystem now export to more than 50 countries – its success is underpinned by a model of providing both standard and customised units to maximise customer efficiency and energy savings.
Forming Frigosystem’s new assembly department, this facility will be dedicated to the production of small to medium-sized chillers and temperature control units, effectively doubling Frigosystem’s existing production capacity. Alongside the new production facility will be more warehouse space, resulting in higher stock levels and improved and quicker availability of spare parts and vital components.
The new production facility represents the latest in a long line of recent Frigosystem investments first unveiled during K 2019.
Frigosystem CEO, Alessandro Grassi, said: “I have been working in the family business since graduation, and I have always passionately supported the project started by my family half a century ago. This expansion signals to the market our continued desire to invest, expand and further enhance Frigosystem’s position in the industrial refrigeration sector.”
The factory expansion coincides with record investment in new production and technical staff, as well as ongoing training to ensure Frigosystem’s exceptional standards of quality continue to be met.
Sales Director, Miriam Olivi, said: “The doubling of our production capacity and investment in our core teams will enable us to fulfil our growing order book, as well as hold more stock of ‘standard’ items for quicker delivery times. Even during the pandemic, we have been fortunate to conclude more projects than ever before, often with increasingly technical requirements, and this success has been recognised with further investment in the company and non-stop production – even over the recent Xmas period – in order to provide a better service for our customers.”
With other investments planned, CEO Alessandro Grassi concludes: “We still have many opportunities and Frigosystem will not lack tenacity in grasping them.”
