New Product Alert: RJG to Reveal Remote Machine Monitoring System at Interplas 2017
The HubTM will be revealed and demonstrated on Stand G4 at Interplas at the NEC in Birmingham on 26th to 28th September. It will be available on a limited release in the final quarter of 2017, but the official release date remains to be determined.
The Hub allows injection moulders and plant managers to monitor their entire plant floor from a single remote access point. It automatically backs up all machine data and makes getting plant-wide information as simple as plugging into the network. The simple interface allows customers to access, support and view all of the eDARTs on their network from a web browser. It can also display data from multiple plants across locations. The Hub clearly shows which machines are producing good, bad and suspect parts and why.
Users can view the current process running on any individual eDARTTM with real-time cycle and summary data, including:
– Which presses have gone down and for how long
– Which jobs are currently running
– How many suspect parts are being produced and why
The Hub also gives users the ability to automatically back up all of their eDART data. With detailed job summary reports, managers can quickly deploy resources to fix issues the moment they occur and resolve ongoing problem areas. Job audit reports verify that each machine is running at the proper alarm and control settings and notify users of changes made during the job run. The Hub works in conjunction with the existing eDART Data Manager (EDM), allowing users to keep data, mould files, templates and more with the mould, even if it is transferred to a different machine.
“With The Hub, plant managers no longer need to spend their time and energy continuously walking the plant floor,” said Dale Westerman, President of RJG. “They’re able to instantly know how all of their machines are performing and quickly prioritise specific processes that need attention. We’re extremely excited to be able to offer that to our customers.”
