New BOY Joins LVS Small Plastic Parts

LVS Small Plastic Parts Ltd has invested in an additional 90T BOY Injection moulding machine to increase their production volume and continue to support the automotive sector with on-demand services.

LVS Small Plastic Parts Ltd is already a well-established Tier 2 supplier for injection moulding components in the automotive industry together with the agricultural, electric and white goods sectors.   The company still sees room for expansion and development, and continues to encourage UK companies to re-shore their component manufacturing.

With ambitious plans for 2018 to strengthen and expand its leading position, LVS has invested in another Injection Moulding machine with a 90 Tonne clamping force BOY 90E Procan ALPHA® 2.

‘’We are amazed by the quick turn around by our long-term injection moulding machinery supplier, BOY Ltd. This will allow us to increase our production volumes, as well as rapidly react to on-demand orders’’ said Simon Anderson, Managing Director of LVS Small Plastic Parts Ltd.

In addition to injection moulding services ranging from 0.1 gr to over 4 kg shot weight, the company offers on-site metrology services with state of the art CNC CMM equipment, Vision System & Surface/Contour Profiling.

Moving forward LVS will focus on accommodating the increasingly complex technological requirements of customers and corporate end users by offering not only a complex variety of products but also in-house add-on value services such as a chrome plating, ultrasonic welding, pad printing, component assembly and packaging for end users.

It’s a success story spanning 44 years, offering ever evolving engineering and support to their customers from initial part design to end user components.
