New Accreditations for AK Industries

AK Industries is pleased to confirm that they are now certified to ISO 14001 (Environmental) and the new ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards.

These accreditations are a great addition to the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 (Medical) certifications already achieved by AK Industries, showing the company’s commitment to managing their manufacturing processes in a safe and sustainable way.

“This is a key part of our continuous improvement strategy. Customers want assurance that their products are being manufactured responsibly, safely, and sustainably. We are only one of a handful of injection moulders that hold medical, environmental and health and safety accreditations, and one of the first to be accredited to the new ISO 45001 standard.

“We are committed to work with our customers to reduce waste and cost by designing and engineering tools to reduce sprue size and shot weight, where appropriate, and ensure what little waste we create is managed responsibly.”
