Two New Hot-Half Solutions from Mastip
Mastip, a leading designer and manufacturer of hot runner solutions worldwide, recently released two new pre-assembled solutions in the Nexus™ System and VeriShot™ Single Valve Gate System to complement its range of fully assembled hot-half solutions.
Mastip is a leading designer and supplier of innovative hot runner solutions to the global plastic injection moulding industry. The company distributes hot runners to over 40 countries globally, providing service and technical support throughout the lifecycle of the hot runner. Helping its customers simplify the complex injection moulding process is an important philosophy for Mastip’s development team. With this in mind, Mastip recently released two new pre-assembled solutions in the Nexus™ System and VeriShot™ Single Valve Gate System to complement its range of fully assembled hot-half solutions.
Nexus™ Systems are supplied pre-assembled and pre-wired ready to be installed into the mould to greatly reduce mould integration and start-up time. Nexus Systems can process a wide range of commodity and aggressive engineering-grade polymers and is suitable for high-pressure applications. Nexus™ Systems are fully customisable and can be installed in cold conditions, eliminating safety risk and a complicated pre-heating process.
The VeriShot™ Single Valve Gate is a drop-in solution and has an extremely compact design requiring a mould height of 54mm, resulting in improved machine optimisation.
VeriShot™ is ideal for applications requiring a highly cosmetic gate finish and includes options for either tapered or parallel pins with valve pins between Ø2.5mm to Ø5.0mm in width.
Both Nexus™ and VeriShot™ Systems incorporate FlowLoc™ leak-proof screwed-in nozzles that deliver superior thermal control and utilise the proven X-Range tip and nuts combinations.
Hot-half solutions are also delivered fully wired and assembled, ready to integrate seamlessly into your tooling design. All aspects of hot-half design are completed by Mastip’s team of engineers with a focus on plate design, cooling circuits and critical dimensions to ensure the successful integration and operation of the hot-half with your mould.
Mastip recently invested further in Europe with new subsidiaries in Oyonnax, France, while establishing a European Head Quarters in Marinha Grande, Portugal.
