Lati at the Engineering Design Show

The Lati stand team this year will include an engineer ready to discuss the feasibility of all projects. Highlights on the stand are:
- A demonstration of LED lights utilizing heat sinks made from LATICONTHER thermally conductive compounds, which have replaced the traditional use of aluminium at considerably lower cost and improved design flexibility.
- An original brass moulding and the plastic replacement made from Lati’s glass reinforced LATIGLOSS plastic compound for use in a shower mixer valve, pressure resistant above 15 bar and approved for potable water – and 90% lighter!
- Demonstration of an electrically conductive thermoplastic compound obtained by formulations containing frontier materials, among which carbon nanotubes. Electrically conductive filament allows the transfer of small currents, this is demonstrated by a small stand demonstration.
