The Department of Materials Science at the University of Cambridge joins a growing list of universities and laboratories across the UK and Ireland enhancing their research and quality control methods by investing in the LabManual series from Fontijne Presses.

Intelicare is pleased to announce that the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge has joined the growing number of institutions adopting this advanced technology. The acquisition of the LabManual 50 laboratory press from Fontijne Presses, supplied by Intelicare, represents a valuable upgrade to the department’s research capabilities.

The LabManual series is designed to be easy to install and operate, with a compact size that fits seamlessly into most laboratory spaces. Depending on the model, the LabManual 50 or 300 can meet pressing requirements up to 50kN and 300kN at temperatures of 200°C or 300°C. It also allows for the use of lower closing forces, ensuring flexibility in various applications. Regardless of the chosen settings, the equipment consistently delivers precise and reliable results over time.
