KUKA UK has an established apprenticeship program, that we are able to deliver in partnership with several local academic institutions.
As a business, we recognise the importance of mitigating gaps in knowledge transfer streams, and bridging the skills deficit as our legacy workforce reach retirement age, by attracting new talent and new skills into engineering.
The solutions that are delivered out of UK, across both our Wednesbury and Halesowen facilities, are diverse and encroach several areas of industrial manufacturing, from robotics to rotary friction welding. As such, we are able to make opportunities available to students in further education who wish to pursue an apprenticeship with KUKA.
We are immensely proud of our apprenticeship program, the opportunities that we are able to make available to youngsters, and of the apprentices themselves. Whilst KUKA shall do all in its power to grow them as individuals, develop their knowledge and skills we are by no means blind to the impact that they shall in turn have on our business: our apprentices are our future.
