GID Launches ARcycle: Premium Quality rEPP Debuts at PRSE 2024

Leading European EPP recycler General-Industries Deutschland GmbH (Kassel, Germany), launches ARcycle, a premium quality rEPP designed for the production of EPP with recycled content.
ARcycle is the prime choice of rPP feedstock to enable stable manufacturing of high performance EPP with post-consumer recycled content (EPP-RE). The quality and performance specifications of ARcycle are specifically tailored to be used seamlessly for the production of EPP-RE. The post-consumer recycled streams at GID are fully certified by RecyClass.
ARcycle guarantees the quality of the recycled material. It covers the influx, sorting and processing to ensure the recycled pellets meet stringent specifications. The materials supplied by General-Industries Deutschland GmbH are approved by JSP for their use within the patent-pending manufacturing process of EPP-RE.
“In terms of the use of recyclates from the EU Green Deal, we see a considerable demand for high-quality and certified recycled pellets in the coming years. With the introduction of ARcycle, we are underlining the special nature and quality of our rPP recycled pellets for EPP production,” says Matthias Henning, Managing Director of GID.
GID has been collecting, sorting, compacting and regranulating EPP / EPE waste from packaging and production waste from processors across Europe for over 25 years. Its core competence is decentralised compacting using 25 compactors and central regranulation at the production site in Eschwege.
