HEXPOL TPE, a leader in the international polymer compounding industry, has been recognised with a platinum rating from EcoVadis for its site in Manchester, UK, and has achieved ISCC PLUS Certification. This commendation places the company in the elite top 1 percent of all evaluated firms, underlining its dedication to sustainability across multiple dimensions.

ISCC PLUS Certification and Sustainable Development
Expanding its sustainability credentials, all European entities of HEXPOL TPE have secured ISCC PLUS certification, enhancing the sustainable traceability of their supply chain. This certification supports the mass balance approach, facilitating a gradual shift from virgin fossil materials to more sustainable alternatives without new infrastructure investments.

This means we can now supply customers with ISCC PLUS certified TPE materials from our European TPE companies. We are enabling the shift from virgin fossil resources and supporting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.”
Platinum Rating From EcoVadis
The platinum rating puts HEXPOL TPE’s UK site in the top 99th percentile of companies assessed by EcoVadis. The assessment methodology covers performance across 21 performance indicators in four themes: environmental, labour, and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
EcoVadis is an independent assessment organisation that evaluates companies’ sustainability performance. Their universal scorecard rates performance by assessing a company’s policies, actions, results, and inputs from third-party professionals and external stakeholders.
