Upon entering the historic Schützenhalle in Lüdenscheid, Germany, guests were met with HASCO’s history. In the tunnel-like entrance, the leading manufacturer of standardised, modular quality standard components and individually planned hot runner systems focused on its exciting and impressive company history: 100 years of HASCO.
The long-established company from Lüdenscheid invited guests to a customer event in the mountain town on 15 May. Managing Director Christoph Ehrlich welcomed around 450 guests from all over Germany to this very special anniversary celebration. “Today we want to make you aware of our pioneering spirit,” said Christoph Ehrlich at the start of the event, linking his statement with a promise to continue this pioneering spirit. “With 100 ideas in the past and 100 ideas for the future, we are there for our customers worldwide!”
The guests were then taken on a visual journey through time. The anniversary film HASCO 100 impressively and emotionally showed the development of the pioneer in mouldmaking, its inventive spirit, determination and adaptability over the past decades. Today, HASCO is at home all over the world, which was documented in another film that evening. Symbolically, a mould plate travelled around the globe – together with international congratulations and greetings from the individual HASCO branches.
Many of the guests were visiting HASCO for the first time. They took advantage of organised tours of the production facilities. They visited the modern panel production facility, the heart of the company, marvelled at the innovative logistics system with the new automatic small parts warehouse and thus got a feel for how the HASCO formula is implemented by the employees on a daily basis through availability, speed and quality.
After the official part, the guests celebrated this extraordinary anniversary in style. A multi-course gala dinner provided culinary delights. A special highlight was the performance of a sand painter, who enchanted the evening with her art. It was almost like magic how her hands kept capturing new motifs of the milestones from 100 years in the finest sand every second. A unique band provided a lively atmosphere until the early hours of the morning.
To ensure that this evening would be remembered, all participants received a special gift at the end of the event. A bilingual anniversary book was presented, documenting the milestones in HASCO’s history in words and pictures.
