Coral Products Expands Flexible Packaging Capabilities with Arrow Film Converters Acquisition

Coral Products plc has announced the acquisition of Arrow Film Converters Limited’s business and key assets, significantly expanding its flexible packaging offering. Coral Products announced the purchase of the business and certain assets of Arrow Film Converters Limited from its administrators for a total consideration of £502,899 in cash, through its wholly owned subsidiary Film & Foil Solutions Limited.

Arrow’s Castleford-based operation brings a suite of advanced flexographic printing, laminating, slitting, and punching equipment, all of which complement Film & Foil’s existing production capabilities. As part of the agreement, around 55 skilled employees have transferred to Film & Foil, to continue running the business as a going concern.

The Castleford site is BRCGS-accredited, and Film & Foil has secured a six-month licence to occupy the premises while a longer-term agreement is discussed.

Arrow Film Converters was an established supplier to major UK supermarkets and reported annual sales over £12 million, with recent monthly sales averaging around £1 million. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Film & Foil’s position within the flexible packaging sector and support Coral’s broader growth ambitions.
