Prestigious Business Award Nomination for Pentagon Plastics
Pentagon Plastics are delighted to announce that they have been selected as finalists for the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards, Manufacturing Business of the Year 2019.
As a UK plastic injection moulder and toolmaking business, this award nomination is true recognition of the growth and innovation within Pentagon’s organisation.
Following the submission of a detailed entry covering various areas of the business and business practice, Pentagon were shortlisted for a judges site visit by Kreston Reeves. This delivered a wonderful opportunity to showcase the extensive self-funded investment in to the facility, focus on employee health and wellbeing, integration of social media platforms and their dedication to continuous improvement.
The company had the pleasure of discussing the support that their business provides to young people and those in education as they recognise the responsibility to help bridge the current skills gap within the engineering industry. Pentagon also touched on the current issues facing the polymer industry and how they look to inject positivity in plastics to a wider audience.
Pentagon Plastics’ business has seen major growth and organisational changes over the last 2.5 years as they acquired and integrated Phoenix Engineering Ltd.
This award would be a true testament to the commitment and dedication from the entire team at Pentagon Plastics. The awards evening will take place on 21st March and the team will be waiting with bated breath as the winners are announced.
