On 7th November, PlastikCity will be exhibiting at the Thermoplastic Composites Seminar 2024, an event hosted by Composites UK in partnership with the British Plastics Federation. Taking place at Aston University in Birmingham, this year’s seminar centres on the theme “Making a Vital Contribution Towards Circularity and Net-Zero Goals.”
The event will bring together leading experts to discuss the pivotal role of thermoplastic composites in advancing decarbonisation and a circular economy across multiple industries.
The seminar will feature engaging sessions led by industry experts in composites and manufacturing, focusing on key developments in sustainable materials. Topics include new advances in composite materials and products, with insights from Far-UK Ltd, Composite Braiding Ltd, and Hive Composites Ltd. Additionally, attendees will learn about advanced processing techniques from the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) and ENGEL, along with innovative strategies for managing thermoplastic composites at end-of-life, including the latest in recycling and upcycling hybrid parts.
Representing PlastikCity at the event, Jess and Will will be available to engage with attendees and discuss how PlastikCity is supporting sustainable solutions within the plastics and composites sectors.
