LATI Industria Termoplastici S.p.A. celebrates its fourth consecutive year of success with the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum Medal, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
LATI Industria Termoplastici S.p.A. announces that it has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, the highest recognition for sustainability efforts.
This prestigious achievement places LATI among the top 1% of companies worldwide in the manufacturing of basic chemicals, fertilizers, nitrogen compounds, plastics, and synthetic rubber in primary forms, based on EcoVadis evaluations.
A continued commitment to sustainability
Since 2014, LATI has consistently measured and improved its sustainability performance using the EcoVadis ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation platform, one of the most recognized assessment systems internationally. This platform allows the company to monitor and enhance its positive impact on the environment, people, and society. EcoVadis assesses companies across four key areas: Environment, Labor Practices and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement, assigning scores ranging from 0 to 100. In addition to the
overall score, companies receive a detailed scorecard with specific recommendations to identify further improvement opportunities.
Continuous improvement: from Gold to Platinum
In 2021, LATI was awarded the Gold Medal with a score of 68/100, already positioning itself among the most virtuous companies in its sector. By 2023, thanks to a continuous commitment to improving internal practices, the company further increased its score to 73/100. Today, with the achievement of the Platinum Medal and a score of 83/100, LATI ranks among the global elite in its sector, joining the exclusive 1% of companies with the best sustainability performance.
The company maintained its high score in the Environment category and has significantly improved in social areas such as Human Rights and Ethics, demonstrating a strong commitment to adopting socially responsible practices in addition to environmental ones.
