AMUT Green Extrusion Days 2024: Focusing on Sustainability

AMUT is delighted to announce the “AMUT GREEN EXTRUSION DAYS” to be held on 7, 8 and 9 October at AMUT Headquarters, in Novara, Italy.

During the three-day event, the company’s esteemed guests will experience the direct Bottle to Packaging process, showing the AMUT extrusion line for r-PET food grade sheet, equipped with the EREMA MPR reactor, in operation. A turn-key sustainable solution processing 100% PET post-consumer flakes converted into a single layer food grade foil with an output of up to 1400 kg/h.

The sheet produced, with a 1200mm net width and a thickness ranging from 0,15 mm to 1,5 mm, will be used in the thermoforming process for sustainable PET food packaging. The monolayer thermoforming sheet, produced from pure #rPET, is 100 % #food contact compliant with the #FDA and #EFSA regulations.

This demo plant has been designed to produce at a maximum speed of 60 m/min. The custom-engineered extrusion line is fully controlled by the AMUT software developed in-house,
including the user friendly EasyStart for the automatic plant start, and EasyChange for the automatic production change.
