EFI to launch new CM9 Hot Runner Controller and Waterflow Manifold at Interplas 2023
EFI Ltd will launch their latest hot runner controller and a new water flow manifold at this year’s Interplas. Located on stand D52, EFI will show off new products and more at the event.
The CM9 has been developed over many years and improves on EFI’s popular CM8 controller with numerous new features. The CM9 has a new modern interface, making it more intuitive and user-friendly. The new interface also allows the placement of manifolds in between cavities. A more advanced temperature control system than the previous model allows for industry-leading temperature control. As well as all the new features, the CM9 is also much more compact than its predecessor, giving it a smaller footprint.
The new hot runner controller is not the only product EFI will launch at Interplas 2023. They have also been developing a new water flow manifold, which they will demonstrate at the event. Based on feedback from EFI’s customers, they realised there was a demand for a corrosion-resistant manifold to prevent many of their customers’ issues. EFI decided to develop their own water flow manifold, resulting in the new ‘EFIflow’ manifold.
To prevent the corrosion problems faced by their customers the EFIflow manifold is made out of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 316. It also uses an open-bore design to monitor the flow rate, preventing blockages in other waterflow manifolds. EFIflow can monitor flow rates within the range of 0-20 litres per minute and integrates seamlessly with EFI’s other products.
