Further Machinery Investment for Plunkett Associates

Following its move to new premises and investment in new injection moulding machinery last year, Plunkett Associates is delighted to announce that its investment programme continues into 2022, as the company takes delivery of a new Charmilles Roboform 35P Sparking Machine.

It was a nice sunny morning, and Plunkett Associates, specialists in low volume and prototype manufacturing and tooling, were delighted to see its new Charmilles Roboform 35P sparking machine arrive! Plunkett continually strives to provide clients with the highest quality service for all manufacturing needs and it is imperative for the company to ensure that its client’s expectations are being exceeded wherever possible.

One of the main ways that Plunkett endeavours to achieve this is through the management of our supplier network, including our own sister company, Adept Precision. This enables the company to be reactive to client enquiries, and actively responsive in getting parts made quickly for clients with time constraints.

The addition of the new sparking machine has allowed Plunkett to bring the process back in-house, which in turn will speed up the process. With the assistance of its cobot, Plunkett is also able to run lights out shifts and support much higher production quantities too.
