forteq UK Announce IATF 16949:2016 Accreditation

forteq UK are pleased to announce that they have recently become IATF 16949:2016 accredited.  This supersedes the current ISO/TS 16949 and defines the requirements of a quality management system for organisations in the automotive industry.

forteq UK manufacture technical injection moulded components for the automotive industry such as air suspension, plastic gear assemblies, wiper systems, engine timing system guides, pumps, EPS, filtration, Electric Vehicle HVAC heaters, engine mount assemblies, door latch modules, fluid delivery, gear shift housing and lighting components.

forteq UK exhibit at many automotive shows and recently had a successful exhibition at Automechanika Birmingham 2018 in June. There forteq group were pleased to display the Sinclair C5, as they produced the plastic transmission system that was used in the Sinclair C5 in 1984. forteq UK are celebrating that they have been making technical plastic injection moulded gears since the 1970’s in Huddersfield.

At forteq UK’s modern facility in Huddersfield, they have over 75 years’ experience within the injection moulding industry, often using engineering polymers.
