3DGBIRE Appointed UK Distributor of Kimya 3D Filaments
3DGBIRE is delighted to be appointed the exclusive distributor of Kimya 3D filaments across the UK and Ireland. 3DGBIRE continues to grow its material portfolio, bringing increasingly unique and diverse materials to its additive manufacturing customers.
From Tuesday 1st September 2020, Kimya ABS-Carbon, ABS ESD, ABS Kevlar, PETG – S, TPC-91A will be available to purchase, bringing unique and diverse properties that will provide 3DGBIRE customers with even greater additive manufacturing possibilities and opportunities.
“The Kimya 3D filaments have the notable advantage of being produced with the approval of printing manufacturers Ultimaker and Raise3D that we alone sell on the market” commented Leah Melling, Sales & Marketing Manager at 3DGBIRE. “We were immediately convinced by the quality and performance of the Kimya products and the diversity of the range. We are delighted to announce today that the Kimya filaments will be available via 3DGBIRE and our other resale distributors.”
This collaboration marks an important strategic turning point for ARMOR, the large materials Group behind the Kimya brand. Indeed, the Nantes-based corporation is turning more and more towards the design and production of ‘on-demand’ high-performance 3D materials. Aware that international industrial groups are seeking to make the most of the possibilities of 3D printing, ARMOR designs tailor-made solutions for them.
By partnering with 3DGBIRE, ARMOR has decided to entrust the distribution of its Kimya 3D filament lines to a recognised partner in the UK in order to focus on its own expertise: the formulation and production of innovative materials for the printing of technical parts.
